Changed my mind, actually applying now.
Name: Son, Anh.
Age: Sixteen years young.
About yourself: I play football and I drive an '07 Acura TL. My friends call me Anh, and I get a kick out of teaching people how to say it (Ahhh~ n). I live in Florida, where it's warm all year round. I'm a friendly guy and I like to make friends. I play X-Box Live and I'm on the Student Council (Senator; Running for Treasurer, though!). About a month ago, I was in a car accident which resulted in a fractured leg, and I was forced to resign from Basketball. I really love playing sports, and I've tried just about every single one. I'm a Platoon Sergeant in JROTC at my school. I plan on becoming either a Civil/Mechanical Drafter or Architect when I grow up. The college I'll be attending is Boston College, I'm absolutely determined. I sort-of hope my friends are around my age. If you aren't, that's perfectly understandable. I expect a bit of literacy out of my friends, so sorry if that's asking too much. I don't expect you to type neatly and flawlessly all the time, because I know I won't. We don't need to philosophize about the Heavens, just actually talk. When it comes down to it, I'm a pretty cool guy, at least that's what I hear. So hey, get to know me.
Experience: Never a GM, always wanted to try being an intern. But I heard that you start as an intern, so I guess that could work in my favor.
Why you want to be a GM: Well, I actually wanted to try being an intern because some of the GMs on this server look like they can code, and I'm beginning to learn, so I was wondering if I could see how it's done, mainly. And seeing as how I've never been one, it could be an interesting experience. I mean, come on, you all seem pretty friendly, how bad could it be?
How did you find out about BetaStory?: GTop100.
In-game Name: Infidelity.
How long can you be on for each day?: I can be on anywhere from 3PM - 3AM (EST; GMT -5). That is unless I have STC (Student Council) that day, in which case I won't be home until 4:30PM. Reality-wise, I would probably say 3 -4 hours a day, provided I avoid my girlfriend.
How long have you been playing Maple for?: A total combined amount of four years!
What can you do for the server?: I'm beginning to learn how to code from my friend who codes for another server, but sadly, she's an intermediate coder, and not the best to look for guidance from. I can also host events, as I've learned from several friends.
Two examples would be:
Countdown Carnival (forgot the original name.)
Preparation:
-Two equal parties of people.
-Summon each party to a side of the field in Monster Carnival PQ (Rooms 3/4).
-Make sure each side is evened out.
Execution:
-Summon a set of monsters for each side.
-Once they kill all of it, raise the amount of monsters and summon different ones.
-First to kill the number of waves of monsters win.
Reward:
-Well, you could summon Gold/Silver Slimes (but that doesn't seem really good).
-You could also hand out a Timeless equip to each person.
(On a side note, you can give a prize to someone who gets a complete set of Timeless weapons.)

Race of the Ages
Preparation:
-Two equal parties of people.
-"Supervisors".
Execution:
-One person from each side starts in a certain map on different channels.
-That person must then race the other person to a new map.
-Once he gets there, his teammates must all be in that map.
-He'll get Christmas letters and numbers, and he must spell out the amount & etc drop his teammates must get (for example, "50 Cheap Batteries".)
-After they collect it and check in with a GM, the GM will summon a monster with a certain amount of HP and they have to kill it within a certain amount of time, or start all over with a new monster being summoned.
Reward:
-Same as above.

I don't believe in unjust punishment, so I will not ban any hacker without definite proof. I don't know, maybe I could hide and watch them. The way to catch a botter is to see how repetitive their movements are anyways. I don't pick favorites, but I'm sure I could be a lovable GM. It doesn't really bother me if the community would hate/love me, since you're bound to piss off some people in life, that's a given. I would never abuse or take advantage of my position.
Favorite MapleStory Class of the 7, (Mage, Rogue, Warrior, Archer, Pirate, Aran, Cygnus): Are you kidding me? It definitely has to be Archers. I just love Bowmasters. Good for bossing and they have Sharp Eyes! They kind of suck in the low levels, though.

I'm not intermediate I just can't teach.. qq. Anyway, GOOD LUCK ANH. I'v known anh for a while now and hes very responsible and has good grammer. Theres alot more I could say about him but in short, Anh would make a good GM (: -Kenzay.

You should practice making Npc's using basic codings like a MYSQL shop or a guy that just talks to you...Maybe a NPC that's capable of trading golden leaves for items *hint*. Then get your script checked by someone that knows what they're doing.
P.s. Off-topic, but interesting to find another foot ball player that plays games like Maple! What position do you play.

I played 1-RB Freshie year, 1-TightEnd Soph year, and then I played 2-Tackle this year. Bunch of injuries made me switch between positions, & thanks for the tip.
